Michael Klaper, M.D. – Healing Foods: Our Best Hope For a Livable World

Sugar and fat consumption as a culprit of causing diabetes and inflamation. Inflamation is cause most of diseases. Milk consuming for adults could be cause of so many adult stage complications. Effect of estrogens from milk of pregnant cows were also being elaborated. Vegetarian diets are associated with lack of depression and mood swings, thiongs which are more prevalent with animal diet.
Caryn Hartglass came up with wonderful recipe called Aguas Frescas which means fresh water. Save a small amount of this recipe and make ice cube and enjoy.
Marion Nestle – Taking On Big Soda (And Winning!)
Dr. Marion Nestle is the Paulette Goddard Professor of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health at New York University and the author of many books, including Food Politics, and her most recent release, Soda Politics: Taking on Big Soda (And Winning). She has served as senior nutrition policy advisor in the Department of Health and Human Services, as a member of the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee, and as a member of the FDA Food Advisory Committee and Science Board. Marion will expose how the food industry exerts its influence over what we eat, and how we can save millions of lives by putting what we know into action.
She said drinking sodas like coke, pepsi supply lot of sugar which causes diabetes and other inflamatory diseases. Soda companies are following script of cigarete companies and succeeding in their effort. Coke and pepsi companies funds lot of lobbying effort and at the same time want to stay anonymous about it.
