Bring peace to your heart, your relationships & the world

When you hear the word “peace,” what comes to mind? Do you think of another era marked by flowers and peace signs? Or war-torn areas of the world that repeatedly make and break peace treaties with their neighbors?

The good news is that there’s a new (revolutionary even!) definition of peace emerging. One that’s not just about ending wars, but actually making your daily life better. It’s about starting in your heart and relationships and creating a positive ripple through your community and far beyond.

This new peace movement embraces deep spiritual practices as well as grounded, practical actions… and it’s spreading!

Innovative peace building solutions are taking hold across the world — thanks to visionaries who are engaging in global social and political movements and everyday citizens performing great acts of compassion in their homes and communities.

Now, you can join these esteemed thought leaders and trailblazing agents for change during Summer of Peace. During this one-of-a-kind gathering, you’ll discover the latest knowledge, science, insights and practices for peace as well as the inspiration and guidance you need to meet conflict with compassion.

This series features 50+ of the world’s leading peacebuilders — including Jane Goodall, Neale Donald Walsch, Sharon Salzberg, Ocean Robbins, Audri Scott Williams, Azim Khamisa and so many more — sharing wisdom for co-creating a new peace narrative and effective methods for putting this vision into inspired action.

Smile Breaks The Communication Barriers

When you smile at someone when you meet even though you met them first time or during a conversation they unconsciously smile back at you. When they smile at you they feel happy about it. That is a good positive feeling and it will facilitate your conversation in a positive way. That is good for achieving whatever your goal is.

So smile to greet the people if you are in an unknown environment and during conversation with the people you don’t know that will help you create a positive atmosphere, which will be conducive to success in whatever your goal may be.

• Positioning of shoulders.
• Movement of hands and feet.
• Uncrossing of arms.
• Positioning of legs.
• Leaning towards the person who is speaking.

Be Consistent

When dealing with other people, nobody likes surprises. People want to deal with persons based on their experience. Everyone wants to know in advance how you will behave under the similar circumstances. They want to know who they are dealing with and what kind of response they can expect. To be consistent you must be reliable and make sure your response does not depend upon your mood.

So to be likeable and increase your chances of succeeding in whatever you doing, I may suggest the following:

Be clear about your policy how you are going to deal with other people.
Be consistent and follow that policy to the letter.
• People should be able to gauze what they can expect from you regardless of who they are.
Be fair in dealing with the people.
• Make people feel that this is what they can expect and get in dealing with you regardless of your personal mood or circumstances.

It is my sincere opinion that if the people know that you are consistent and can expect certain response from regardless of fact what your mood, circumstances, or who you are dealing with, they will respect you, like you and will be willing to deal with you with confidence. That cements you success with those people.

A YouTube video – “Consistency & Flow – Motivational Video” – enumerates how consistency is cornerstone to your success:

[P.S. In near future there will be disruption in publishing of this blog for about a month. I may not be able to publish it on daily basis, even though my attempt will be to publish as regularly as possible during that time also. Don’t Be Desperate To Seek Attention

When you speak with confidence, precise and friendly manner, people are more attentive and convincible by what you say than if you try to show them how important you are. All you need is to be considerate and friendly to win people and be likeable. People eventually become irresponsive to those who are desperate for attention. You need not have an extrovert personality to be liked by the people. People catch up very quickly as to what you are and who you are. They are more attracted to right attitude than how many people or what kind of people you know.

To get a sincere attention of the people here are my suggestion what you should do:

Don’t look desperate to get attention.
Be concise, friendly and considerate in what you are saying.
• When someone recognize you don’t sing your song to get more attention that comes out as a desperate attempt to get attention.
Give a sincere, deserving and openhearted credit to other people for your success.
Be genuine when you others credit in your success; people will catch on to your sincerity and will take you as a humble and appreciative personality. These are two cornerstone pillars on which will be based your likeability.

Once people start liking you based on your sincerity and genuine desire to serve them they will open to you. Then and only then your popularity, likeability and success will soar.

A YouTube video – “Ask Shallon: Are You Acting Desperate? How not to look CRAZY” by Shallon Lester explains how girl should not act desperate when trying to get attention of a guy:

[P.S. In near future there will be disruption in publishing of this blog for about a month. Judge The Situation But Don’t Be Judgmental

No one likes the people with the preconceived ideas. People interact more openly with open minded people. No person will like a conversation with people who already formed an opinion without listening to whole conversation. If you don’t listen to them, why they should listen to you? This takes you nowhere in conversation.

This is my suggestion:

Be an open minded. It makes you more approachable and interesting to talk.
Don’t preconceive an opinion on the subject before listening and discerning on what others have to say.
• Learn to see the world through other people’s eyes.
• You don’t have to believe them.
• You don’t have to condone their behavior.
• It simply means that you delay your judgment long enough to fully understand what they are conveying.
Understand what is making them tick.
• That is the only way you can let them be what they are.
• Then you can deal with them as they are.

If you can bring yourself to understand them in that depth then only you can take the best benefit out of that discussion. So keep an open mind. That is what will help you succeed.

A YouTube video – “Judging others is Dangerous: Powerful Story – Video – Don’t Jump to Conclusions.” Gives good view on being judgmental:
